SelmaMeyerMentoring Jahresempfang am 8. Mai 2023!
Das erfolgreiche Netzwerken des SelmaMeyerMentorings wurde am 8. Mai 2023 auf Schloss Mickeln gefeiert. Beim Jahresempfang kamen Mentees, Mentorinnen und Mentoren sowie alle Unterstützenden des Programms zusammen. Ein Highlight war der Vortrag der niederländischen Professorin Dr. Marieke van den Brink. Sie sprach darüber, wie Förderung der Gleichstellung nutzt.
Ihr Festvortrag trägt den Titel „Beyond Mentoring: the benefits of sponsoring for gender equality“. Prof. Dr. Marieke van den Brink kommt von der Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen. Zuvor sprach Prof. Dr. Dr. Andrea Icks, Prorektorin für Transfer und Forschung der HHU das Grußwort. Auch Dr. Anja Vervoorts, Zentrale Gleichstellungsbeauftragte der HHU, begrüßte alle Gäste herzlich.
Außerdem wurden neue Mentees der Gruppe PROF-VII begrüßt und die erfolgreiche Gruppen des SelmaMeyerPROF-VI und SelmaMeyerWISS-XIII verabschiedet. Die Moderation übernahm Dr. Sabine Küsters und Cristian Piccardo sorgte für den musikalischen Rahmen.
SelmaMeyerMentoring Annual reception on May 8, 2023!
The successful networking of the SelmaMeyerMentoring program was celebrated on May 8, 2023 at Schloss Mickeln. Mentees, mentors and all supporters of the program came together at the annual reception. One highlight was the presentation by Professor Dr. Marieke van den Brink. She spoke about how promotion benefits gender equality.
Her keynote speech was entitled "Beyond mentoring: the benefits of sponsoring for gender equality". Prof. Dr. Marieke van den Brink comes from the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen. Prof. Dr. Dr. Andrea Icks, Vice-Rector for Transfer and Research at HHU, gave the welcoming address. Dr. Anja Vervoorts, Central Equal Opportunities Officer at HHU, also warmly welcomed all guests.
In addition, new mentees from the PROF-VII group were welcomed and the successful SelmaMeyerPROF-VI and SelmaMeyerWISS-XIII groups were said farewell. Dr. Sabine Küsters moderated the event and Cristian Piccardo provided the musical accompaniment.
